Stub character page: name, race, and class assigned by the author to complete the six-person party roster confirmed on Gift I's page (2026-08-10). Deliberately left minimal — personality, backstory, and build details are left open for actual play rather than authored in advance.
Vanya Sorokin
Concept: Russian Goblin Rogue, part of the Aegis of Equilibrium's Junior Warden party alongside Gift I. Leans into Slavic trickster-folklore energy (the "clever fool" archetype, à la Ivanushka durachok) rather than a generic sneak-thief read — "Sorokin," from soroka (magpie), a bird associated in Russian folklore with thieving and chatter.
Level 1 Ledger
Attributes: DEX 15 · INT 14 · CON 13 · WIS 12 · CHA 10 · STR 8 Vitality: 9 | Guard: 14 (leather and quickness)
Domovoi's Wink — when an ally has a foe's attention, he can slip in past their guard for a sharp extra hit (1d6). Named for the Slavic household spirit known for mischief and misdirection.
Quick Fox Trick — a burst of speed as a free action: dash, disengage, or duck out of sight, once per turn. Fox is the classic trickster figure in Russian folklore (Lisa Patrikeevna).
Trained hands — proficient with lockpicks and similar tools, stealth, and reading a room.
No spells — a Rogue's Level 1 tricks are entirely mundane, which is rather the point.
